A dramatic and elegant blue shade. Mix it with Soft Black in a 50:50 ratio for a charming raven effect.
Hair henna in a jet-black, slightly navy shade. Unlike drugstore dyes, it does not penetrate the hair, but leaves a thin filter on the hair, which absorbs within 48 hours. It makes the hair gain volume, is more durable, and resistant to mechanical damage. The effects on your hair are noticeable after the first use; with each subsequent henna application, your hair regains strength, vitality, and shine, and stops breaking and falling out.
Henna is free of ammonia and hydrogen peroxide, so it doesn't damage your hair. You can successfully dye gray hair with it. It's safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Temperature: Mix the powder with water or black tea at a maximum temperature of 50 degrees Celsius. A thermometer will be useful for this. The higher the temperature, the more intense the color.
Application time:Keep the henna on your hair for 30 minutes for thin or damaged hair, up to 2 hours for thick and healthy hair.
Application method:
Prepare: henna in the chosen shade, a thermometer, a bowl, a brush, a hat, a turban or a towel that can get dirty, aluminum foil, food foil or a plastic cap.
In addition to the included disposable gloves, you should also protect your clothes - stains are very difficult to remove.
To cover shoulder-length hair, use 80 to 100 g of powder. Do not inhale it. Combine the mixture with water or black tea and mix thoroughly until it reaches the consistency of yogurt.
It is recommended to apply the mixture directly to washed, towel-dried, warm hair. Use a silicone-free shampoo to wash your hair; commonly available shampoos with silicones prevent the color from being absorbed into the hair.
Apply the prepared mixture while it is still warm. If you are new to herbal hair dyes, place the bowl with the mixture in a warm bath (for example, a sink filled with warm water) to prevent the mixture from cooling quickly. Then, using a brush, apply the henna from the roots to the ends of your hair. For easier separation and application of the mixture to individual strands, we recommend using hair clips. For an even color, massage the mixture into the rest of your hair throughout your entire head. After applying and massaging the dye into your hair, cover it with aluminum foil or cling film to prevent it from drying on your hair.
Don't forget to cover the delicate hair at the temples and back of your head. To keep the mixture warm and ensure a more intense coloring effect, cover your hair with a woolen hat or towel. The application time of VOONO henna depends on the hair structure and the chosen color. Soft and chemically treated hair absorbs the color faster than healthy hair. A longer application time also intensifies the coloring effect. For delicate coloring and coloring of very damaged hair, it is recommended to leave the mixture on for about 30 minutes. For healthy hair, two hours of application is sufficient.
After the above application, wash your hair with water until it is completely clean. After removing any residue from the hair, do not use any styling products, not even shampoos. During this time, the color sets in the hair and becomes fully intense. In some cases, VOONO herbal colors may darken over the next 48 hours after dyeing when exposed to air.
Dyeing blonde and gray hair:Do not apply pure indigo to light or gray hair! It creates an unwanted gray or green tint. We do not recommend applying dark shades to blonde hair (Indigo, Soft Black, and Dark Brown - 90% of hair will turn green!). Indigo is suitable for naturally black hair or combined with Soft Black. To avoid a greenish tint, a two-step dyeing process is recommended. In the first phase, it is necessary to dye the hair with a copper shade (henna lawsonia) to re-pigment it. Then you can apply the chosen dark shade without hesitation and achieve a uniform color result.
Steps 1 and 2 can be performed on the same day. After washing off the red shade with water and gently towel-drying the hair, apply the chosen dark shade. For repeated application, just dye the roots.
