The Omega 3-Vitum forte dietary supplement in capsule form is a preparation with a high content of up to 1100 mg of fish oil, a source of omega-3 fatty acids, including eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
Both EPA and DHA contribute to the proper functioning of the heart, and the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA. They also contribute to the maintenance of normal triglyceride levels in the blood. A beneficial effect in this regard is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of EPA and DHA. Furthermore, DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision and brain function, and the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA. Do not exceed 5 g of EPA and DHA per day.
The preparation is enriched with vitamin E, which contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative stress.
