An advantage of the VITAMMY babycinno is the stabilization function. When a child lies on the scale restlessly, the scale will automatically stabilize and display the result after the digits flash three times on the screen.
Use the weighing pan to weigh a newborn or infant.
1. Place both parts of the weighing pan in the slots.
2. Place both parts parallel to each other, and then move each part in the opposite direction so that they join into one weighing pan.
3. Secure the weighing pan against falling out by pressing the safety catch on the bottom of the scale.
4. When you don't need the weighing pan, pull the safety catch on the bottom of the scale, spread both parts of the weighing pan apart, and then remove them from the scale slots. Store both parts in a dry place.
Weighing newborns and infants
1. Place the scale with the weighing pan installed on a hard, flat, and horizontal surface. Do not place the scale on soft surfaces such as carpets or rugs, as this may affect the measurement results.
2. Turn on the scale by pressing the On / Off / Tare button.
3. When only zeros and the weight unit appear on the screen, you can start weighing.
4. If you want to change the weight unit (kg / lb / st), press the UNIT button.
5. If you want to rotate the screen, press and hold the UNIT button for approximately 2 seconds.
6. Place your child on the scale. The result will appear on the screen. If you do not want to place your child directly on the scale, first place a towel on the scale, press the On / Off / Tare button to zero the scale, and then place your child on the scale.
7. Turn off the scale by pressing the On / Off / Tare button or wait for the scale to turn off automatically after 60 seconds. If you want to take another measurement after removing your child from the scale, reset the scale beforehand.
