The product is based on chamomile hydrolate, a natural water created during the distillation of this plant's flowers. Chamomile hydrolate is rich in azulenes, flavonoids, and organic acids, which have anti-inflammatory, soothing, and moisturizing properties. Thanks to these properties, it is ideal as a soothing product in the daily care of sensitive, irritated, or redness-prone skin.
Using Pine and Chamomile after cleansing helps restore the skin's natural pH, which is essential for maintaining its healthy condition. The skin's natural pH is usually slightly acidic, around 4.5-5.5. After washing the face, it can temporarily lose this natural pH and become more alkaline. The sodium lactate contained in the formula gently but effectively balances the skin's natural pH, helping to maintain a healthy protective barrier that prevents infections and irritations.
The Pine and Chamomile Tonic also provides essential hydration, preparing the skin to absorb the active ingredients contained in subsequent skincare steps, such as serums or creams.
