If we were to place Rosemary & Mandarin in any season, it would be summer. But not the first, intense June summer. We're thinking of Indian summer—still sunny, warm, yet waning, filled with contrasts. And that's exactly what this bar smells like. On the one hand, energizing, refreshing, and uplifting thanks to the sweet-citrus scent of mandarin. On the other, mysterious, even a little nostalgic thanks to the herbal-bitter aroma of rosemary. The contrast of scents is the key to achieving total harmony, which your olfactory receptors will at least appreciate. And more likely, they'll love. The scent isn't the only goodness Rosemary & Mandarin offers. The bar's base is our classic, starchy blend of high-quality natural oils: shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, and hemp oil. This blend is responsible for the soap's main properties: moisturizing, nourishing, and smoothing the skin, and also influences its practical properties: its perfect consistency and the creation of a thick, stable lather upon contact with water. If you're familiar with Nettle, the texture of this bar may remind you slightly of it. This is all thanks to ground, dried rosemary, which gives it a rough, paradoxically delicate texture. It's not a scrub, but the plant particles gently massage the body while using the soap, exfoliating dead skin, and thus regenerating and firming the skin. And if those benefits weren't enough, we'll add a visual aspect – the bar is wonderfully green, thanks to green (of kors) barley, a natural source of chlorophyll, as well as vitamins B, C, E, and K, and selenium.
