Fermented soybeans (natto) are a product traditionally consumed in Japan. They contain nattokinase, an enzyme obtained in a multi-stage process involving cooking soybeans and then fermenting them using the Bacillus subtilis natto bacteria. The fermented red rice extract is a source of monacolin K, and the Japanese pagoda tree extract is a source of rutin.
