Benefits of dry body brushing:
  • A great way to exfoliate dead skin
  • Helps prevent ingrown hairs
  • Helps reduce cellulite
  • Helps prevent stretch marks
  • Has an energizing effect
  • Relaxes muscles
  • Detoxification
How to dry body brush?

Start from your feet towards your heart, and Then continue brushing your entire body. Don't forget to brush behind your knees! Clean your stomach and chest using clockwise motions.

Make sure to adjust the brush pressure for different areas of your body so that they are comfortable, but stimulating enough to increase circulation. Your skin should be slightly pink after brushing, but never red or irritated.

Contraindications for Body Brushing

Body brushing is not recommended for skin conditions such as acne, fresh scars, or psoriasis. Broken capillaries and varicose veins also don't like brushing. Remember to avoid moles and birthmarks when brushing.

How often should you brush?

If brushing doesn't irritate your skin, you can do it daily. However, because dry brushing can cause skin to become slightly irritated, we recommend brushing a maximum of three times a week. If you have very sensitive skin, limit brushing to once a week.
