What is betaine salicylate? It is a milder form of salicylic acid, it is natural, and comes from sugar beet. This exfoliating beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) is highly effective while remaining gentle on the skin. Its effectiveness will be particularly appreciated by oily, combination, and blemished skin types struggling with increased sebum secretion. It is effective in acne treatment, reducing blackheads, limiting the formation of new lesions, and thanks to its exfoliating properties, it helps smooth and even out the skin tone. Active ingredients found in this product: Betaine salicylate (2%) is a natural derivative of salicylic acid, which, thanks to its keratolytic properties, allows the removal of dead skin cells (exfoliates), and also has antibacterial activity.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural moisturizing substance (humectant), binds water and retains it in the skin, has a soothing effect.
Tea tree extract is a strongly anti-inflammatory, antifungal substance, regulating sebum secretion, thanks to which lesions heal faster and inflammation is less extensive.
Aloe extract is rich in microelements, intensively soothes and calms irritated skin.
The product has It has a relatively low pH (3.5 ±0.5), but its active ingredient composition means it can also be used by people with sensitive skin. In such cases, first test a small amount of the product on the inside of your wrists. Regardless of your skin type, avoid the eye area! When using products with acids that regulate the thickness of the stratum corneum, remember to use sunscreen.
