5-MTHF Methyl Folate 600 µg is a dietary supplement containing active folic acid in the form of calcium L-methylfolate. Calcium L-methylfolate is an active, crystalline, and methylated form of folic acid, which is available to the body immediately after consumption, without the need for further metabolic transformation. Unlike consuming regular folic acid, consuming calcium L-methylfolate has greater bioavailability and does not mask vitamin B12 deficiencies. Chicory inulin contributes to normal intestinal function by increasing the frequency of bowel movements. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 12 g of chicory inulin.
