DigeZyme is a multienzyme complex containing the digestive enzymes α-amylase, cellulase, lipase, lactase, and protease, obtained through the microbial fermentation of fungi and bacteria. Each of these enzymes has different properties: α-amylase breaks down carbohydrates such as long-chain polysaccharides into smaller units, cellulase breaks down cellulose, lipase breaks down fats, protease breaks down proteins and peptides, and lactase breaks down lactose. The composition is enriched with the natural prebiotic inulin. Chicory inulin contributes to normal intestinal function by increasing the frequency of bowel movements. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 12 g of chicory inulin. A serving of the product provides 70 mg of inulin. The product does not contain any fillers, anti-caking agents or dyes.
