Vibration Programs
Your Mystim Vibe has 8 vibration programs, 5 e-stim programs, and one program specifically for pelvic floor muscle training. You have control over whether you want to enjoy a constant "hum" of vibrations for stimulation or choose intense pulsation intervals. The instructions include a brief overview of the programs. However, in this case, as with many others in life, the best way to find out is to try it!
E-Stim Programs
Each of the five electrostimulation programs offered by E-Stim Vibe is designed to provide you with new and exciting sensory experiences. Each press of the e-stim button switches to the next program. To avoid incorrect settings, after changing programs, wait a moment before increasing the intensity, as the wave programs (2 and 4) only reach the highest stimulation level after about 3 seconds.
Pelvic Floor Muscle Training Program
While the e-stim programs described above stimulate nerve endings, the training program instead stimulates the muscle fibers of the pelvic floor, strengthening the muscles. With this program, you should feel the muscles contract. For optimal training effect, set the intensity as high as possible without feeling painful contractions. If you don't feel your muscles contracting and relaxing again, try changing the position of your E-Stim Vibe. Training is only effective when you can feel the muscles moving. To activate a training program, click on the 5 e-stim programs; the sixth e-stim program is a pelvic floor muscle training program. The muscle stimulation program first goes through a phase of generating perceptible impulses that stimulate the pelvic floor contraction, followed by a recovery phase during which the muscles relax. Both actions are necessary for the ideal training effect. During the several-second recovery phase, you may feel as if the electrostimulation has been turned off – simply wait a few seconds for the cycle to start again.
Your Mystim vibrator is made of medical-grade platinum silicone. This makes it extremely hygienic and easy to clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. You should also regularly use a skin-friendly disinfectant (please refer to the appropriate instructions for use). Before reusing or charging your vibrator, allow it to dry completely. Make sure to only use your vibrator with water-based lubricant. For better current conduction, you can use special conductive gels.
