Good cleansing is the foundation of effective skincare – it's when we rid our faces of dirt, excess sebum, makeup, sweat, and other impurities. A cleanser that's too strong can strip the skin of its valuable natural oils, resulting in excessive dryness, a feeling of tightness, and even, paradoxically, provoking the skin to secrete even more oil. A cleanser that's too weak won't remove impurities sufficiently.
A golden mean would be useful. The Lipa i Mydlnica Face Gel would be useful.
When creating the gel formula, we aimed to achieve the perfect balance between effective cleansing and gentleness. Mild, natural surfactants such as disodium cocoamphodiacetate, coco-glucoside, and caprylic-capric glucoside cleanse the skin thoroughly yet very gently, minimizing potential irritation. This is especially important for products intended for everyday use. These ingredients simultaneously reduce the feeling of tightness, soften, and leave your face feeling simply happy after a bath. Hydrogenated starch hydrolyzate helps with this – thanks to its moisturizing, regulating, and texture-improving properties, it promotes better well-being and, consequently, better appearance.
The formula also includes thematic extracts: licorice, chaga mushroom, and the titular soapwort. All are a treasure trove of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and nutrients and are on the front line in the fight against skin aging. They also have smoothing, antiseptic, and cleansing properties.
Skin can be prone to dryness during cleansing, so in addition to gentle cleansing agents, the formula contains flaxseed resplant – an emollient that limits transepidermal water loss from the epidermis. As a result, the complexion is smooth, moisturized, and elastic.
Finally, tartaric acid with its exfoliating properties, pore-tightening properties, sebum regulation, and skin tone improvement. And the linden absolute in the name – a concentrate obtained through extraction from linden flowers, which allows for the extraction of chemical compounds and active ingredients contained within this plant. The absolute boasts a high content of essential oils and flavonoids, which have anti-aging properties and also give the gel a delicate aroma of linden blossoms in July.
It's worth mentioning the effectiveness of the gel here, as it can surprise us. It did. Even a very small amount of the product creates a soft lather that will cleanse your entire face. This means that a 100-ml bottle will last you a loooong time. The pleasant, gel-like consistency ensures easy application, comfortable spreading on the skin, and incredibly easy removal.
Lime and Mydlnica is recommended for both morning and evening care and works perfectly with other products from the Starlings' face category. It will take on the second step of cleansing after the Carrot and Orange hydrophilic oil and prepare the face for subsequent steps: serum, cream, or mask.

A delicate, mild surfactant. It exhibits foaming and moisturizing properties. At an acidic pH, it has conditioning properties.
Coconut glucoside
A natural, vegan, non-ionic surfactant. Gently cleanses the skin, soothes the effects of strong detergents, regulates the consistency of the cosmetic, and facilitates its application.
Caprylic-capric glucoside
A very delicate non-ionic surfactant. Cleanses the skin, reduces the feeling of tightness, and soothes the effects of strong detergents.
Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate
A vegetable carbohydrate syrup derived from starch, responsible for reducing irritation caused by surfactants and reducing skin roughness. It gives the cosmetic product its final consistency.
Xanthan Gum
A thickening agent that stabilizes and improves the product's consistency.
Licorice Extract
Has antioxidant, softening, smoothing, and antiseptic properties. It helps combat discoloration.
Chambophloem Extract
A longevity mushroom, a treasure trove of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. It contains the SOD enzyme, or superoxide dismutase, which is the front line in the fight against skin aging.
Soapwort extract
has astringent and antiseptic properties. It regulates sebum production and cleanses. It also acts as a natural foaming agent thanks to its triterpene saponins. Suitable for sensitive and irritated skin.
Lime absolute
is distinguished by its characteristic linden aroma. It contains a high content of essential oils and flavonoids, which have anti-aging properties.
Linseed extract
is a water-soluble emollient. It reduces transepidermal water loss from the skin, leaving it smooth, moisturized, and supple. It gives the product a velvety finish and facilitates its spreading on the skin's surface.
Tartaric acid
Tightens skin pores, regulates sebum production, and improves skin tone. It also has exfoliating and antiseptic properties. Responsible for regulating the pH of the cosmetic product.
