Hydrophilic Facial Cleansing Oil, 100 ml
To begin, let's take a quick look back at chemistry class and explain the definition of hydrophilicity, i.e., water-loving. Oils are fatty substances, and by nature, they don't dissolve in or mix with water. We all remember this perfectly well. So how do we get around this? An emulsifier! Incorporating it into oil causes it to transform into a delicate emulsion upon contact with water, which spreads easily and pleasantly on the skin. It's precisely this property that inspired our Starling Carrot and Orange Cleansing Oil. The golden-colored mixture of macadamia, carrot seed, and cranberry oils, enriched with the aforementioned emulsifiers, transforms into a light, milky balm when mixed with warm water. It thoroughly and effectively removes impurities from the skin, nourishes it, and eliminates dryness. The product is also a great performer when it comes to removing makeup (even waterproof makeup) and SPF cream. The oil can be used alone or as the first step in a two-step cleansing routine. You can also remove the makeup with water-dampened cotton pads. Preferably reusable ones. And ours! :) We've packaged the oil in a sleek, 100ml glass bottle.
