Millewan Shampoo is based on plant-based detergents, whose cleansing power has been selected to gently, yet above all, effectively cleanse the hair.
This is the most gentle shampoo in the entire Roots series, which was inspired by the tradition of herbal medicine and the rich history of Slavic roots. The shampoo's name comes from the Slavic goddess of spring, life, beauty, and youth, the protector of wildlife, forests, and woods – the Goddess Mullein.
The shampoo's formula uses extracts from ancient Slavic herbs, flowers, and fruits such as mullein, viburnum bark, hop cones, and rowan berries, which have a beneficial effect on the scalp. They moisturize, soothe, and nourish it.
The shampoo's formula is enriched with amber extract, also known as the "stone of the sun." Amber has found its use in hair care thanks to its moisturizing and conditioning properties.

Story of the Slavic Goddess
The hundred-handed Łado also courted Dziewanna. However, the Lord of the Order of Things terrified the goddess with his strange appearance. Łado tried various means to win her over and embolden her – to no avail. In the Welanian Rozdmuzyska is the perpetually foaming Lake Wichrów, nearby stretches Lake Weniów in an elongated channel, and right behind it, cut off from Pełnica by the Krasne Pagórki range, is Lake Kraswara. One day Łado managed to catch Dziewanna in that very spot. She was going there to bathe. As soon as he spotted her, he immediately threw himself into the waters of Lake Krasz, taking the form of a large catfish. The goddess, however, transformed into a lithe snake, swam to the shore, and quickly leaped into the meadow. There she transformed into a magnificent, colorful butterfly and soared into the air. Łado transformed into a waxwing and continued the chase. When he seemed to have the butterfly in his beak, it sat down on the grass, transforming into a deer. Łado immediately transformed into a golden-horned stag. The nimble deer fled from him into the deepest forest. She carelessly fell into dense trees that blocked her path. She could no longer retreat or rise into the air. So she transformed into a viburnum bush. Łado, however, did not give up and, like a powerful, multi-armed hop shoot, entwined his lover with its coils.
