Build your tolerance to retinal gradually by applying it always at night, to cleansed facial skin.
If you're starting retinoid therapy or resuming it after a longer break, start with a serum with a lower concentration of Retinal 0.06%. If your skin has built up a tolerance, introduce the serum with Retinal 0.06% gradually.
Every skin is different. Find the right intensity of use for you. Start with a small dose (2 pumps), applying to cleansed face and neck 1-2 times a week. Add one night in the following weeks until you gradually build tolerance. During the so-called tolerance building period, your skin may react with redness and dryness. However, this is a transitional phase, and once your skin gets used to retinal, you'll notice the first beneficial effects, i.e., an improvement in its appearance.
Be patient and observe how your skin reacts. If you notice any dryness or redness, discontinue the treatment, wait for your skin to calm down, and then return to using the serum less frequently. Again, gradually increase the frequency until your skin gets used to it.
Once your skin tolerates the lower concentration of Retinal 0.06%, applied 4-5 times a week, you can switch to the higher concentration of Retinal 0.15% serum.
Important!
Always start building your tolerance to retinal with the lower concentration of Retinal 0.06%.
When using retinal products, be sure to apply a cream with a high UV filter in the morning.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use retinal. If you suffer from skin eczema or rosacea, consult a dermatologist about using retinal.
Take care of your hydrolipid barrier (HBB)
30-40 minutes after applying retinal, you can apply a serum/cream with ceramides.
For very sensitive skin prone to dryness, we recommend starting retinal treatment using the so-called sandwich method, which involves applying a moisturizing cream, then retinal, and another layer of moisturizer.
During the treatment, support your skin with well-moisturizing and regenerating products: such as squalane, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and antioxidants. They will protect the hydrolipid barrier and bring the best results of the anti-aging treatment.
