Damask Rose Hydrolate Damask Rose Hydrolate is made by steam distillation of organically grown rose petals. Rose hydrolate has many valuable properties: strongly moisturizes; binds water in the skin, protecting it from excessive moisture loss; firms and reduces the formation of wrinkles; recommended mainly for dry, mature and tired skin; has anti-inflammatory, soothing and healing properties; is hypoallergenic, so it can be used by people with sensitive skin; can be used for minor wounds as it has astringent, antiseptic and antibacterial properties; strengthens blood vessels, regulates circulation; smoothes, cleanses and mattifies; works well as a facial toner; recommended for minor burns and abrasions. The product may contain particles rose petals and rose oil.
