Milanella biom contains a unique combination of Probiotic** – Lactobacillus salivarius SGL03 and Prebiotic*** – inulin.
- Milanella biom for breastfeeding women.
- Supplements the microbiota of the milk ducts.1
- Supplements the microbiota of the child's digestive tract.2
Scientific data:
- Breastmilk microbiota is an important element influencing the composition of the microbiota of the child's digestive tract (from the mouth to the intestines).* Breastmilk contains a large number of bacterial strains that act as a defense system, among others, against other bacteria present in the mammary gland. During lactation, various phenomena related to the flow of breast milk through this gland can occur. If milk flow is impaired or if milk accumulates in the milk ducts, the growth of certain bacteria may occur*.
- The probiotic strain** L. salivarius SGL03 occurs naturally in a healthy human mouth and digestive tract*, where it is not subject to enzymatic degradation*. Studies have shown that the bacteria contained in the product pass from the intestines to the mammary gland as early as 4 days after consumption1, where they influence the composition of the milk microbiota, and then along with it enter the baby's digestive system2.
- In vitro studies indicate that the L. salivarius SGL03 strain affects the number of, among others, bacteria responsible for hindering milk flow through the mammary gland*.
- The chicory inulin contained in the preparation has a prebiotic effect*** and is known to influence the intestinal microbiota*.
- Consumption of probiotic bacteria** L. salivarius, both in the case of physiological and hindered milk flow from the mammary gland, is recommended by the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM)*.
- The product is to be used as a supplement to lactation advice to modify the microbiota of breast milk.
- EU law prohibits the making of claims regarding the effects of L. salivarius SGL03 and inulin on human health. For this reason, we do not make such health claims for our products. However, we provide reliable research conducted on these raw materials so that you can exercise your rights guaranteed by Article 54 and 73 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland: freedom to receive information and freedom to use the results of scientific research.
