Medela bottles are made of polypropylene - a BPA-free material. The bottles are shatterproof and therefore safe because if dropped on the floor, they will not break or splatter. They allow all mothers to store and feed milk using the same container. There is no longer any need to transfer milk to another bottle before feeding, which means milk waste will be minimal. Medela bottles are available in 2 sizes:
150 ml bottle + nipple in size S - slow flow, ~0-3 m
250 ml bottle + nipple in size M - medium flow ~4-6 m
