The thermometer has a unique shape, so it fits well in any hand. Navigation is via three buttons. The Medel No Contact is equipped with special features, such as the ability to turn off the sound to avoid waking your child during nighttime temperature measurements.
The easy-to-read LCD screen has a backlight, but when it detects a fever, it will also light up red and activate an audible alarm. At temperatures below 38°C, a smiley face icon will appear on the thermometer screen; above 38°C, the smiley face icon will become sad. The battery life indicator promptly notifies you when a replacement is needed, and the automatic shut-off function after 30 seconds of receiving the result minimizes battery consumption.
