Active Ingredients:
Centella asiatica, also known as gotu kola, cica, or "tiger grass." The latter name comes from a legend that tigers, after fighting other animals, would roll in this plant to accelerate wound healing. The extract from this plant has multifaceted effects. It has a calming and soothing effect on inflammation and soothes irritated skin. It has anti-oxidant and firming properties.
Ceramides form intercellular cement and are responsible for epidermal regeneration, filling in defects and microdamages. Ceramides protect against excessive water loss by stimulating its absorption, which helps maintain optimal skin hydration and elasticity. They have protective, moisturizing, regenerating, and soothing properties.
Olive squalane, due to its presence in the lipid layers of the epidermis, contributes to maintaining the proper hydrolipid balance in the skin. It prevents transepidermal water loss from the skin. It has protective, soothing, and anti-inflammatory properties.
Inulin is a sugar that forms a film on the skin, limiting excessive transepidermal water loss (TEWL). It has anti-wrinkle, moisturizing, and soothing properties. Strengthens the skin's natural protective barrier.
Urea softens and smooths the epidermis. It reduces discomfort, itching, and skin irritation.
Algae extract moisturizes, nourishes, regenerates, and has anti-wrinkle properties.
