Ubiquinol V100 is a dietary supplement containing the active, reduced form of coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinol), developed by the Japanese company Kaneka. This form is characterized by high bioavailability and is much better absorbed by the body compared to classic ubiquinone.
Ubiquinol is a substance naturally occurring in the human body, particularly concentrated in mitochondria – the "cellular power plants" – as well as in the heart, muscles, and liver. It participates in the production of cellular energy (ATP) and also exhibits antioxidant properties, protecting cells from oxidative stress.
