FOLIATE 5MTHF Quatrefolic is a dietary supplement containing the active form of folic acid – 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) in the form of Quatrefolic®. This form is characterized by high bioavailability and stability because it does not require conversion in the body. This makes it ready for direct use by cells.
Folate supports a number of biological processes – including amino acid synthesis, blood production, homocysteine metabolism, and normal psychological and immune functions. They also play an important role in the process of cell division.
Each capsule contains 400 µg of folic acid in the form of Quatrefolic®, which corresponds to 200% of the Reference Intake.
