Normal body temperature is a range that varies from person to person and can change throughout the day. It also varies depending on the location on the body. Therefore, measurements from different locations should not be directly compared. The Jumper JPD-FR403 is used to measure temperature in the ear. The normal temperature range for the eardrum is 35.8°C-38.0°C, for the forehead - 34.7°C-37.3°C.

The infrared temperature sensor collects infrared energy emitted by the eardrum or the skin surface. Once focused by the lens, the energy is converted into a temperature reading by the thermopiles and measuring circuits.

Fever Warning

When too high a temperature is detected, the thermometer's display will turn red and an audible signal will sound.

The thermometer can also be used to measure the surface temperature of an object (e.g., milk and water).

The probe is protected by a cover - remove it before measuring in the ear.

The Jumper JPD-FR403 infrared thermometer for measuring temperature ensures safe measurement and ensures the reliability of the result.

  • Class IIa medical devices are subject to strict standards and quality controls, ensuring their safety and effectiveness. This means the Jumper JPD-FR403 thermometer has undergone rigorous testing and examination to ensure it is safe for use in both home and professional offices.
  • Class IIa medical devices must meet high quality standards. This means the Jumper JPD-FR403 thermometer is made of high-quality materials and components, ensuring durability and reliability.
