The fetal heart rate (FHR) is extremely important and provides the basis for checking the fetus's health.
Recording changes in FHR helps detect signs of fetal hypoxia. Fetal monitoring at home mainly involves listening to the fetal heartbeat and checking for changes in FHR, which help significantly increase fetal safety. Reference fetal heart rate range: 110bpm-160bpm.
The fetus moves in the pregnant woman's abdomen, and therefore the position of fetal heartbeat detection may change.
Depending on the stage of pregnancy, the heartbeat is felt in different places on the abdomen. You should patiently and calmly determine the baby's position in the abdomen.
It is normal for the baby's heart rate to be variable - it changes depending on what you are doing.
The fetus will respond to changes in your position, e.g., from sitting to lying down. Activity can also be triggered by the mother's strong emotions, sounds that reach the baby, and food (e.g. sweets).
