Three well-researched ingredients with proven effects on skin discoloration – tranexamic acid, nonapeptide-1, and alpha-arbutin. Key active ingredients: • Encapsulated tranexamic acid. This is a synthetic derivative of the amino acid lysine. It has properties that inhibit plasmin and the enzyme tyrosinase, making it a proven compound in the treatment of hyperpigmentation, especially melasma. It has been encapsulated in microscopic capsules to increase its stability and penetration through the epidermal barrier. Alpha-arbutin and Nonapeptide-1 limit melanin synthesis in the skin, thus lightening discolorations and reducing the risk of their formation. Milk thistle fruit extract is rich in silymarin, which has antioxidant, brightening, and redness-soothing properties.
