Sodium butyrate FORTE is a food for special medical purposes. (FSMP).
- High butyric acid content
Sodium Butyrate FORTE in a daily portion (2 capsules) contains 1200 mg of sodium butyrate, including as much as 940 mg of butyric acid.
- Stomach acid-resistant capsule
Sodium Butyrate FORTE capsules are resistant to low pH acid, but dissolve in a neutral pH environment.

Sodium butyrate is a source of butyric acid, which can be helpful in nutrition in many gastroenterological diseases. In combination with treatment, it has a beneficial effect on health and disease symptoms. Butyric acid is naturally produced in the colon and immediately taken up by epithelial cells as an energy source. It accelerates epithelial cell regeneration and water absorption in the intestine.

Directions for use
Adults: 1 capsule twice daily - after breakfast and after dinner.
The preparation should be taken whole with water.
The duration of use should be as directed by a physician.

Storage
In a tightly closed container, at room temperature 15-25°C, in a dry place, out of reach of small children. Protect from moisture and light. Consume within 2 months of opening the container.

Do not chew or crush the capsules. Do not leave them in the mouth to dissolve. The product is not intended for parenteral use.
