How to apply Gelish hybrid nail polishes correctly?
To achieve a long-lasting, professional hybrid manicure, follow the steps below:
1. Nail Preparation
Step 1: Disinfect your hands and nails, gently push back and remove your cuticles.Step 2: Shape your nails with a 240/240 file. Step 3: Lightly buff your nails with a 100/180 buffer to remove any natural shine.Step 4: Clean the nail plate with a lint-free cotton pad soaked in Gelish Nail Surface Cleanse to remove dust and grease.Step 5: Apply a thin layer of Gelish pH Bond to balance the pH level and prepare your nails for styling.
2. Gel Polish Application
Step 1: Shake and apply a thin layer of Gelish Foundation, making sure to protect the free edge of the nail.Step 2: Cure in an LED lamp (18G) for 5 seconds or a UV lamp for 1 minute.Step 3: Apply a thin layer of your chosen Gelish color, making sure to cover the edges of the nail.Step 4: Cure in an LED lamp for 30 seconds or a UV lamp for 2 minutes. Repeat the color application for full coverage.Step 5: Apply a thin layer of Gelish Top It Off, also protecting the free edge of the nail.Step 6: Cure in an LED lamp for 30 seconds or a UV lamp for 2 minutes.Step 7: Clean your nails with a lint-free cotton pad soaked in Gelish Nail Surface Cleanse to remove the sticky dispersion layer. 3. Removing Gelish hybrid polish
Step 1: Gently buff the top layer of hybrid polish with a 100/180 buffer. Step 2: Soak a Gelish Wrap It Off cotton pad in Gelish Artificial Nail Remover, place it on the nail and wrap it in aluminum foil. Leave for at least 15 minutes. Step 3: Remove the foil and gently remove any remaining polish with a wooden stick. Step 4: Buff your nails with a 200/280 grit buffer and apply Gelish Nourish Oil to moisturize your cuticles and nail plate.
