Instructions for burning a soy candle:1. Before lighting the candle, check the length of the wick. Its optimal length is about 0.5 cm. If the wick is longer, shorten it to avoid a smoky, jumping flame. Use a trimmer or regular office scissors.2. Soy candles, unlike paraffin candles, tend to tunnel, meaning the wax burns unevenly. To avoid this, do not extinguish the candle until the wax has melted to the very edges of the container.3. The cotton wicks used in candle production are 100% natural, and therefore sensitive to prolonged burning. A large amount of melted wax makes the wick longer and heavier, which can cause it to tilt or smoke slightly. It's best to extinguish the candle, wait for the wax to harden, shorten the wick, and relight it. To prevent the wick from submerging, we recommend burning the candle for no longer than 2-3 hours at a time. Candles don't like to be left alone, so don't leave them unattended. Extinguish them with a wooden lid or a snuffer.
