"Smooth Licorice" Body Balm
Recommended for: all skin types.
Active ingredients: licorice extract, sweet clover, lecithin, vitamin E, panthenol.
Action: moisturizes, regenerates, smoothes, soothes the symptoms of excessive sun exposure.
How to use: Apply a small amount of the balm to cleansed and dried skin, then massage in with circular motions.
Active ingredients under the microscope:
licorice extract - has strong water-binding properties in the skin. It has moisturizing, soothing, antioxidant, and anti-edema properties.
Melilot extract – has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, soothing, and capillary strengthening properties. The active substances found in the melilot herb are primarily flavonoids, coumarins, and tannins.
Lecithin – a natural emulsifier and emulsion stabilizer obtained from vegetable oils (soybean, rapeseed, sunflower) through hexane refining or from egg yolks. A brown substance with a viscous consistency and high hygroscopicity. It allows the water and oil phases to combine and prevents their separation. Additionally, it improves skin hydration and protects it from water loss.
Vitamin E – in cosmetics, it is used in the care of mature, tired, and dry skin. Provides natural protection against "free radicals," neutralizing their destructive effects on healthy cells.
Panthenol, or provitamin B5, is a moisturizing substance that penetrates the stratum corneum; it promotes the penetration of other nutrients.
