Active ingredients under the microscope:
Jasmine grandiflorum hydrolate has a very delicate scent, pleasantly affecting the senses. Jasmine is grown in warm climates in Asian countries. In addition to its relaxing effects, natural jasmine flower hydrolate has, among other things, Regenerating, antioxidant, and anti-wrinkle properties. Jasmine water contains characteristic biologically active compounds – natural aromatic substances, tannins, flavonoids, and resins.
Rose water is produced by distilling rose petals to obtain rose oil. It contains small amounts of essential oil and a plant decoction. During distillation, rose petals release sugar compounds, tannins, flavonoids, vitamins (including vitamin C), and mineral salts into the aquatic environment. It has nourishing, moisturizing, and smoothing properties. Aromatic water should not be confused with eau de toilette, which contains synthetic fragrances and is used for perfumery, not skincare. Plant waters have a rich, balanced composition and are more delicate than oils.
Hyaluronic acid creates a hydrophilic film on the skin's surface. The acid itself does not penetrate the epidermis due to its large molecule size, but it creates a layer of hydrogen-oxygen bonds that attract water molecules from the dermis. Water flows from the interior to the stratum corneum and hydrates the epidermis. A well-hydrated stratum corneum absorbs active ingredients better. Aloe extract is obtained, among other things, by concentrating aloe leaf juice. Aloe pulp, applied topically, smoothes and firms the skin, regenerates it, maintains moisture, and has a soothing effect. It also has sun-filtering properties. A complex of plant-derived polysaccharides with molecules of various sizes gradually moisturizes the epidermis. Panthenol, or provitamin B5, is a moisturizing substance that penetrates the stratum corneum; Penetration promoter for other nutrients.
