Corundum – a very hard mineral, commonly used in beauty salons for dermabrasion treatments. Dermabrasion is performed to rejuvenate the epidermis. By exfoliating the keratinized layer, a "new," delicate, and beautifully pink epidermis is revealed. New cells in the top layer of the skin divide faster. The epidermis grows and thickens, and hydration improves. The mask uses micronized, regular particles that have good functional properties and effectively exfoliate the epidermis.
Lactobionic acid – a polyhydroxy acid (PHA) obtained by oxidizing lactose. It retains all the properties and abilities of AHA acids, but is devoid of irritating properties. This makes it suitable for mature and problematic skin. It reduces the appearance of spider veins and skin redness. Lactobionic acid, like any hydroxy acid, loosens corneocyte bonds, gently cleanses the epidermis of dead cells, brightens, smoothes, and evens out skin tone.
Hyaluronic acid – increases epidermal hydration, smooths, and rejuvenates it.
Poria cocos plant extract – contains polysaccharides and triterpenes. This fraction, obtained from mycelium, standardized to sugars, is particularly effective in combating the harmful effects of aging. In the Chinese Empire, Poria cocos was valued for its ability to keep skin clean and wrinkle-free. Studies on a model product containing Poria cocos (Gladback™) showed that after two months of use, the ability of skin receptors to bind hyaluronic acid increased, as did the amount of collagen IV, necessary to maintain epidermal integrity. The epidermis was 8% thicker, and the epidermal radiance was equivalent to a complexion 12 years younger! Microcirculation improved and visible wrinkles were significantly reduced.
Sugarcane squalane (Ecocert) is a valuable oily substance, a derivative of squalene found in human skin and hair. The lipid substances in squalane are exceptionally biocompatible with the epidermis. They moisturize, regenerate, and protect the skin against free radicals responsible for the aging process.
Avocado oil – easily penetrates the skin and intensely moisturizes its deeper layers. It is one of the most valuable cosmetic oils due to its rich composition. The oil contains vitamins A, B, D, E, H, K, PP, minerals: magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc. It also contains unsaturated fatty acids: omega-9, omega-6, and phytosterols. It is highly compatible with the skin's natural lipids and significantly improves its elasticity.
