They prevent contaminated water from entering the vagina. They help maintain the vagina's natural pH level. During menstruation, the vagina is extremely sensitive, and while swimming or bathing in a pool, chlorinated and contaminated water can disrupt the vagina's natural pH balance. The bottom of the ellen® Sport Aqua Block tampon is covered with a specially designed waterproof barrier that prevents water from entering the vagina while in the pool. The sports tampon can be used during menstruation - it absorbs menstrual fluid during water activities. It can also be used while swimming, even if you're not menstruating, to protect your vagina from external factors found in pool water. If you experience recurring vaginal irritation, the ellen® Sport Aqua Block tampon can prevent irritation even during regular bathing. How to use: Use the ellen® Sport Aqua Block tampon before using the pool or participating in water sports. Wash your hands thoroughly before unpacking and inserting the tampon. Remove the sports tampon immediately after swimming. If the sports tampon was used during menstruation, we recommend replacing it with an ellen® probiotic tampon for use during your period.
