Active ingredients of the collagen body balm
Collagen: • obtained from fish skin, • demonstrates high biocompatibility with the collagen protein of the human body, • obtained naturally in a gentle hydration process, allowing for the maximum preservation of the valuable qualities of live natural collagen molecules for human skin, which are able to penetrate the deep layers of the skin and provide them with an optimal level of moisture and improved elasticity, as well as wrinkle smoothing, • fish collagen is the only effective way to stimulate our body's collagen to increase its production and is Able to create all types of collagen fibers – both those responsible for joints and those responsible for smoother skin, stronger hair and nails. • A single collagen molecule is theoretically too large to penetrate deep into the skin. The uniqueness of collagen obtained from fish skin lies in the fact that it breaks down at a temperature of around 27-30 degrees Celsius, while the surface of human skin has an average temperature of around 32-34°C. Fish collagen with a denaturation temperature below this value will break down into amino acids or peptides upon contact with human skin, thus enabling them to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin. • It constitutes over 12% of all active ingredients. Collagen forms the main scaffolding of the dermis and is responsible for its mechanical strength.
