The PhysioForma shape supports the correct positioning of the tongue in the baby's mouth - moving it forward and upwards, with the mouth closed.
This tongue position supports the physiological opening of the upper respiratory tract, thus supporting physiological breathing (through the nose). Physiological breathing is extremely important for the proper development of a child.
The position of the tongue in the mouth is also of great importance for the formation of the palate and creating space for the baby's first teeth.
