CeraVe formulas are a composition of three ceramides with a structure identical to the ceramides found in the skin: ceramide 1, ceramide 3, ceramide 6-II, as well as cholesterol, fatty acids, and phytosphingosine. These ingredients work synergistically to rebuild the skin's protective barrier. MVE (Multivesicular Emulsion Technology) enables a time-stable release of active ingredients, including essential ceramides, to help rebuild the skin's protective barrier, keeping it moisturized for longer.
