Cardiomin
is a source of important minerals (magnesium and potassium combined with vitamin B6 and coenzyme Q10) that support the maintenance of normal blood pressure. Supplementing these ingredients can be a valuable dietary supplement for people who want to take care of their heart health and maintain normal blood pressure.
The DASH diet (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) is a dietary pattern recommended for people with high blood pressure. It is rich in fiber, antioxidants, as well as magnesium and potassium.1 Cardiomin is a formula that contains these two deficient minerals (magnesium and potassium) in the diet in a highly absorbable citrate form. This is especially important in the case of potassium, as unlike potassium chloride, this form is gentler on the digestive tract. The formula has been enriched with coenzyme Q10, a component essential for obtaining energy for muscle cells, which additionally provides support for the heart muscle. Recent scientific studies show that Q10 supplementation is very effective in supporting the functioning of the heart muscle2.
Cardiomin contains ingredients that have a beneficial effect on the circulatory system, including the heart:
- Coenzyme Q10 – has antioxidant properties. It protects cells, including blood vessels, from damage caused by free radicals. Coenzyme Q10 helps maintain normal blood pressure. It also contributes to energy production in metabolic processes and maintaining proper body performance3.
- Potassium – helps maintain normal blood pressure. It has a beneficial effect on the functioning of the muscular and nervous systems. The form of potassium citrate used is distinguished not only by its high bioavailability, but also by its gentle effect on the digestive mucosa4.
- Magnesium – performs many important functions in the body, including maintaining electrolyte balance. Magnesium also supports the proper functioning of the nervous, muscular, and skeletal systems. The form of magnesium used in Cardiomin (magnesium salts of citric acid) is characterized by high bioavailability5.
- Vitamin B6 – reduces tiredness and fatigue. Supports the functioning of the immune and hematopoietic systems. Helps maintain normal psychological functions and supports the nervous system.
