The cleansing formula also moisturizes skin, leaving it soft and smooth. Step 1: For best results, apply self-tanner to dry skin at least three days after using Self Tan. Step 2: Press firmly on the foam applicator and apply generously. Leave on for at least five minutes. Step 3: Rinse with warm water and blot away any tan with a damp cloth. For more stubborn areas or dry skin, you can also use an exfoliating mitt. Once the product stops foaming, unscrew the pump. Place the end of the tube in a cup of warm water and pump the water 5 to 10 times before reconnecting it to the bottle.
