How to use BOCIOLAND bags for freezing milk:
- Wash your hands thoroughly, then place the bag on a clean, stable surface. Mark the date and time of expressing the milk in the designated area to make it easier to check the freshness of the milk.
- Cut off the top edge of the bag (in the place marked on the package).
- After cutting off the top of the seal, gently open the double zipper and pour the expressed milk into the bag, not exceeding the maximum capacity of 200 ml. Mark the amount of milk on the package scale to know the volume in the bag (milk changes volume when frozen).
- Then carefully close the bag, pressing the double zipper along its entire length to prevent leakage and odor transfer.
- Place the bag in the freezer in a vertical or horizontal position, depending on available space. For best quality, store milk at -20°C and store for a maximum of 3-6 months.
- Thawing: Before use, it's best to thaw the milk slowly by leaving it in the refrigerator for a few hours. Alternatively, you can use a water bath at a temperature no higher than 50°C. Do not use a microwave!
- Preparation for serving: Use scissors to cut off one of the marked corners of the bag to create a convenient funnel, making it easier to pour the milk into the bottle without the risk of spilling.
Note: BOCIOLAND bags are intended for single use - they should not be re-frozen or re-used. Any milk left over during feeding should be discarded.
