Renewing Peel with PHA Acids, 30 ml
Renewing Peel with Lactobionic Acid and Gluconolactone is a cosmetic with broad stimulating, regenerating, and rejuvenating effects.
Lactobionic acid is a unique representative of this group, distinguished by its spectacular effects while simultaneously being gentle on the skin. Its exfoliating effect is imperceptible to the naked eye. Due to its relatively large molecule size, it does not penetrate the skin as deeply as other acids, hence its less irritating effect. The BIOUP Renewing Peel can therefore be treated like a serum, but one that remains on the face for a short time and requires washing off.
The decision was made to use a peeling formula rather than a serum because the cosmetic's lower pH (below 3) allows for significantly greater activity of lactobionic acid and gluconolactone. Our skin therefore benefits fully from their properties. The peel's formula also allows for easy and relatively infrequent use without the need to permanently incorporate another step into your daily skincare routine.
Effects of using lactobionic acid
Lactobionic acid and gluconolactone aren't initially spectacular, and after the first or second application of the Renewing Peel, no significant differences are visible. The peel also doesn't provide an immediate feeling of smoothness to the skin—which is often expected from this type of cosmetic. However, after a few applications, we gradually begin to feel its effects, and after about 1-1.5 months of regular use twice a week, the first results begin to become visible.
PHA acids are long-distance runners. The best results are achieved with regular, long-term use: • beautiful, fresh, radiant skin tone • increased hydration • improved skin firmness and density • younger-looking skin – improved elasticity, smoother skin texture, and reduced surface wrinkles • reduced tendency to redness, reduced visibility of broken capillaries • soothing irritations, reduced tendency to inflammation Lactobionic acid is particularly well-suited to the needs of mature skin. It inhibits enzymes that destroy collagen and elastin fibers, preventing the formation of wrinkles and sagging skin. It stimulates collagen synthesis, strengthens the skin's repair mechanisms, and neutralizes free radicals.
Additionally, the peel contains ingredients responsible for improving skin hydration – urea and saccharide isomerate, as well as the amino acid arginine – with a broad anti-aging effect.
Who is it for?
The numerous benefits of regular use of lactobionic acid make it highly desirable as a care product for all skin types.
At the same time, PHA acids are the most delicate acids and are effective in the care of skin that reacts poorly to stronger representatives of this group.
The renewing peel with PHA acids is recommended for all skin types – especially mature, dry, combination, capillary, dull, with loss of firmness, signs of aging, problematic yet delicate, and sensitive.
How to use BIOUP Renewing PHA acid peel?
Apply a thin layer to cleansed face, avoiding the eye and lip area. Leave on for 10-15 minutes and rinse thoroughly with water. After the first few applications, you can extend the time the product remains on the skin to 20-30 minutes. The peel does not dry, but for thorough removal, you can use a cotton pad or washcloth. There is no need to neutralize the peel.
Use 1-2 peels a week as the beginning of your evening skincare routine. After washing off the peel, proceed to the next steps.
For best results, use the Renewing Peel regularly for at least 2-3 months.
PHA acids are the most gentle acids with low irritation potential. After using the peel, the skin should not react intensely – with a burning sensation, heat, or redness. However, every skin type is different, and due to the lowered pH of the cosmetic, such a reaction may occur at any time. Therefore, before first use, test on a small patch of skin. In case of a severe reaction, wash the product off immediately. Do not use on damaged skin or open, inflamed lesions.
The peel can be used year-round.
During periods of sun exposure, we recommend including SPF protection during the Renewing Peel treatment.
