Ceramides are an essential component of skin lipids. Their role cannot be overestimated. The ceramide layer (the so-called intercellular cement) is a tight protective barrier essential for effectively inhibiting water loss. Replenishing ceramides is one of the key ways to prevent skin aging.
BIOUP Ceramide Serum contains a 5% complex of three types of ceramides: NP, AP, and EOP. These compounds help the skin regain its smoothness and firmness, and in the long term, increase its ability to retain water. Its susceptibility to irritation also decreases.
Additionally, the serum contains trimolecular hyaluronic acid, which binds water within the skin's structures, and a highly hydrating complex of xylitol derivatives.

An important ingredient of the serum is l-ornithine – an amino acid encapsulated in liposomes that allow for more effective penetration into the skin. It affects the volume of subcutaneous fat tissue. This tissue is responsible for maintaining the proper contour and contours of the face. By increasing its volume – an effect comparable to in-office lipofilling treatments – existing wrinkles are filled. The effect is subtle plumping and improved skin structure.
Selected lipid ingredients – Abyssinian oil phytosterols, sugar cane squalane, and organic almond and jojoba oils – create a barely perceptible protective barrier for our skin, making it silky soft and smooth.

This ceramide serum has a very light, velvety, milky consistency. Applying a small amount – a few drops – absorbs quickly, leaving the skin velvety smooth. It won't leave a sticky feeling on most skin types. It has a delicate, sweet scent that doesn't linger.
Who is CERAMIDE Complex 5% Ceramide Serum for?
Suitable for all skin types and ages. We especially recommend this cosmetic for mature skin – as they are most sensitive to the effects of ceramide depletion. It's a very good choice for skin aged 40+, 50+, and 60+. A bull's-eye in anti-wrinkle prevention and wrinkle reduction.

How to use BIOUP CERAMIDE Complex 5% Serum?
It can be used in the morning and/or evening on a cleansed face. Shake the bottle vigorously before each application. The serum is efficient and packed with active ingredients – a small amount is enough.
We don't usually use this cosmetic on its own. We recommend using it under a light cream, but also under an oil or oil serum.
It works well in the morning as a smoothing and moisturizing base under traditional makeup and BB creams or SPF creams; Similarly, minerals adhere very well to it.
The cosmetic is available in a 30ml bottle made of colorless frosted glass with a top-pressed pipette.
