Correcting Serum with Retinal 0.07%, 30 ml
ACTION: Our 0.07 agent! Retinal is the last compound converted to retinoic acid (which cannot be used in cosmetic products). It boasts antibacterial properties, making it helpful in the care of acne-prone skin, and due to its low irritation potential, it can be safely used in the care of skin affected by rosacea. This ingredient effectively combats discoloration, has anti-aging properties, reduces wrinkles, and improves skin elasticity and firmness. Vitamin C in the form of 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid, present in the antioxidant regenerating serum Illuminating and Calming, has anti-inflammatory properties and reduces redness, thus minimizing the side effects of the treatment, while brightening the complexion and positively impacting its overall appearance. Vitamin E (INCI: Tocopherol) and coenzyme Q10 (INCI: Ubiquinone), a duo of powerful antioxidants, combat free radicals, soothe the skin, and slow the aging process. Ceramides NP and AP, acting as intercellular cement, support skin renewal, accelerating its regeneration processes. Carnosine 2.0 is resistant to degradation, making it significantly more effective than L-carnosine. This ingredient restores skin firmness, prevents the effects of photoaging, lightens brown discolorations (PIH – Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation), and generally improves skin tone. Phytosphingosine, a free sphingoid amine found in the skin, a natural anti-inflammatory factor, improves the appearance of acne-prone skin, reduces redness and irritation. Phospholipids, which are carriers of retinol, stabilize it and reduce the risk of irritation. WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Because retinal penetrates the deeper layers of the skin, it SHOULD NOT be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women. The serum is fragrance-free; its slight scent is due to the ingredients. We recommend washing your hands thoroughly after applying the product. The serum may stain light-colored bedding and clothing. We recommend protecting your pillowcase and, if stains appear, using a stain remover. Refrigerate the product after opening. Shelf life after opening: 3 months. USE: During the day, apply high-quality SPF50+ sun protection and avoid sun exposure. It's also important to remember that during retinal treatment, the skin requires increased hydration and regeneration. Always start retinal use with a lower concentration, i.e., 0.07%, both when starting treatment for the first time and when resuming it after a longer break. Retinal should be introduced gradually, using it every 4-5 evenings for the first two weeks. Over time, reduce the interval between applications by one day. Apply the serum once daily, exclusively in your evening routine, to cleansed, dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Initially, apply retinal on its own to observe your skin's reaction. Ultimately, approximately 30-40 minutes after retinal application, you can apply a moisturizing and regenerating product, such as a ceramide serum and/or a lipid-based winter cream. In the first few weeks of retinal use, you may notice redness, dryness, or irritation, as well as flaking – this is a result of your skin developing tolerance to this active ingredient. Switch to a higher retinol concentration when your skin tolerates the lower concentration well, at least 4-5 times a week. Increase the concentration as well as build skin tolerance – initially every 4 days, gradually increasing the frequency. Retinal use year-round is acceptable, but it should be discontinued completely for approximately 4 weeks before planning increased sun exposure.
