Our AFRICAN potash soap is created by saponifying, with potassium hydroxide, the highest quality unrefined palm fat. This fat is sustainably sourced from WILD palm trees growing in Kenni. No harm is done to the environment, and local residents work to harvest the fruit, receiving fair wages for their labor. Our suppliers personally establish and maintain contacts with local people, and also help and improve soap production in local villages. Potash soap is much softer than sodium soap, so it should be stored in a dry place. Ideal for everyday skin care. Also excellent for laundry, dishwashing, and gardening (1%-3% solution). Soap content approximately 75-80%. Highly biodegradable, odorless. 100g of bar soap, when diluted with water, can yield approximately 500ml of thick liquid soap. To do this, cut the bar of soap into smaller pieces, place it in a bottle, and soak it in warm water for a few days. Stir the contents, inverting the container occasionally. To speed up the process of obtaining liquid soap, you can blend everything with a hand blender, for example. The resulting liquid soap has a beautiful amber color. Directions for use – body wash and bath: Soap the entire body and massage the skin with slow, gentle movements. This relaxing massage should last a few to several minutes, after which the soap should be rinsed off with water.
