Keep in mind that stress, high fever, exercise, prolonged periods of abstinence, travel, and dietary changes can affect test results. How should the test be performed? Place the semen sample in the designated container, place the lid on the container and swirl gently for at least 10 minutes. Wait 15 minutes for the test to begin. Swirl the container again before starting the test. Open the foil pouch at the notches and remove the contents. Place the test cassette on a flat surface with the T and R holes facing up. Swirl the sample in the container before removing the lid. Then, hold and squeeze the plastic dropper. Place its tip in the semen and draw the sample into the dropper. Gently squeeze the dropper and add one drop of semen to the T test window. Let it soak for at least one minute. Then add two drops of the blue solution to the T test window. Let it soak for at least one minute. Finally, add two drops of the clear solution to the T test window. Let it soak for at least one minute. Read the result after 5 minutes. How to read the result? Positive test result: the blue color is darker or darker in the test field T than in the reference field R - the sperm concentration is equal to or greater than 15 million sperm/ml.
